39th Engineer Reunion 2011
18th Brigade, 45th Group, 39th Engineers
The 39th Engineer Reunion was held in St Robert, MO on October 6, 7, 8, 2011. St Robert is about 10 minutes north of the US Army Post, Fort Leonard Wood. Fort Leonard Wood is where most of us received our last round of training before receiving our invitations to travel over to Southeast Asia (Vietnam). This was the first time I have visited Fort Leonard Wood since I left there in February of 1967.
This was the last photo I took at the reunion. I found this truck in the hotel parking lot on Sunday morning as I was preparing to leave.
